-INN TO THE WOODS BED & BREAKFAST-

An Inn with personality? Choosing to live on an island in the middle of the Salish Sea requires a certain degree of individuality and, let's say, creativity. We've used these qualities to influence how we've decorated our inn: from the colored  glass chips in the stone floor of our common area to the mingling of hand crafted log and traditional furniture to the rustic hand loom used as wall art. Our diverse decorating doesn't mean we have forgotten guest comfort: private hot tubs in our three King rooms, bath amenities, coffee service and free Wi-Fi in all of our rooms.  Breakfast is prepared fresh every morning and always includes seasonal fresh fruit (with a little notice we can accommodate most dietary needs).
Pets are welcome with reservation.

Our Inn is four miles from picturesque Friday Harbor and seven miles from historic Roche Harbor, ideally situated for island exploration. The Inter-island Ferry makes day trips to Orcs, Lopez and Shaw islands convenient and if you return to the Inn before sunset, you can relax on the deck and watch the evening sun reflecting off the water of Sportsman Lake.

As a reminder to our guests, please remember that you need to make ferry reservations before coming to the San Juan Islands.
Woodland Alert!  Inn to the Woods is... actually in the woods, which naturally includes deer, pine needles and uneven ground. Although our guests enjoy our forest setting, some may find it a challenge to navigate from car to entry. If you think this might be you, please talk with us prior to your arrival. We offer options that meet most needs.

Accommodations

With a four-poster bed and canopy, the Forest Room is our nod to a more traditional B&B accommodation. The Salal Room has a bit of whimsy with two chain saw sculpted bears and a hutch made from an old door. The Lakeview has, along with a snug cedar-spindle bed, a terrific view of Sportsman Lake. Our second-floor room, the Arbor, seems to be ever evolving...but it has always had a comfy king bed and a hot tub for two on the balcony.
