Our Property

Our room names reflect where we are: surrounded by forest greenery on beautiful San Juan Island, overlooking Sportsman Lake.


  • The Lakeview Room is named for it's great view of the lake from the south facing windows.
  • Nestle into the Forest Room has a view of the forest and passing wildlife out of your windows.
  • The Salal Room is named for a native berry bush that is prolific here on our grounds.
  • The Arbor Room is our second floor room with a private entrance under an arbor.

Our Pets

We do have pets at the inn, and we try to keep them out of the rooms and common areas. We have our dog, Tourmalina (a sight hound of some sort), and three cats. We offer Friday Harbor pet-friendly lodging, and we ask our guests to honor our pet policies.

Policies

  • Our rooms are designed to accommodate two guests over 16 years of age.  Persons under 16 years of age are not permitted on the property. All rates are double occupancy plus taxes.


  • Reservations are suggested to avoid disappointment.


  • You can check availability and make reservations online at inntothewoods.com or call us at (360) 378-9501.


  • We accept Visa and MasterCard.


  • Please consider your schedule carefully. Your commitment begins the moment your reservation is confirmed. We require a one night deposit to secure your reservation. You may cancel your reservation fourteen days prior to your arrival date for a refund of your deposit less a $50.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel your reservation or shorten your stay less than fourteen days prior to your arrival, you will be charged the full amount of  your reservation. Please contact us by telephone if you are going to  cancel your stay, we do not accept cancellation requests by email or text.


  • We maintain a non-smoking inn.


  • Inn to the Woods is a pet-friendly bed & breakfast offering rooms for guests traveling with their four-legged friends. You must have a reservation for your pet. Please keep your pet on a leash when walking outside. Pets must be attended: take your pet with you when you leave your room for the day (you can arrange for pet sitting at Animal Inn and Wellness Center if you want to be on your own for a while).


  • Our pet fee is $35.00 per pet, per stay.


  • Check-in is 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. If you are going to arrive after 7:00 pm, please let us know and we can arrange for self-check in.


  • Check-out time is 11:00 am. If you need a later time, please talk with the Innkeeper.
